A Cause of Tinnitus: Alcohol among other things like caffeine can cause increase in tinnitus symptoms. If this is happening then decrease or stop alcohol intake and take vitamins and if persists see ENT to have heaing and ears evaluated. Also Aspirin and advil/ Aleve can also cause tinnitus so use tylenol (acetaminophen) instead.

Drink your calories: Alcohol contains calories  and  calories translate into pounds.  3500 calories equals on pound.  So when you drink  alcohol it goes directly toward your daily caloric intake.  You can check the labels on your beer or other bottle drinks.  You can look up calorie info on mixed drinks.  Good rule of thumb is if you are trying to lose weight- dont drink your calories :).

why do i get immediate sharp, stabbing pain in my left shoulder within minutes of taking a sip of alcohol? i noticed the pain months ago and began pt without improvements. i recently made the connection that even 2 sips of beer will trigger pain?

: Occasionally, people with stomach ulcers, Liver or spleen abscesses or Peritonitis can have what is called Kehr's sign which is a referred pain in the left upper shoulder due to irritation of the diaphragm. Alcohol can irritate ulcers, or Liver problems. See your Primary Care Dr for a full workup including labs and imaging. Avoid alcohol for now and note any other symptoms including abdominal pain

i have just had a random abdominal usg and there is this riedel lobe variant on the right side of my liver. liver is perfectly ok except this variant. is it concerning? what is a riedel lobe and is there a connection between consumption of alcohol?

: This is considered a rare but normal variant of the liver. It occasionally confuses docs who may think the liver is enlarged by a hands on exam. It has otherwise no significance. Just consider yourself special.

Celiac ablation: You already had the surgery - what needs to be done now is to determine that a celiac block (with local) will actually help. Only then should you proceed with an ablation

had first migraine aura without headache in 2000 they started again in 2011 i stopped drinking alcohol in 2008 and up until now 2018. could there be an unusual connection of stopping drinking involved ?used to drink inside normal guideline limits .

Migrane: yes, there is a well known connection between red vine and migrane headaches, a lot of people, like a pavlov's dog , could not even look at the bottle.
