Usually smaller: If uncomplicated and only removal (no lift) the incision to remove implants may be even smaller.

Breast implant: Removal is surgical procedure that usually is performed under anesthesia. If the procedure is just to remove implants, the procedure is rather short. If however, it is due to a complication such as capsular contracture or implant rupture, the procedure may be more involved. If the implants are large, the skin may be stretched out and a breast lift may be needed to repair any droop that occurs.

Probably no change: I don't think removal of the implants will effect the manner in which your body responds to the pill.

Accepted Answer

Few: For women where there is no capsular contracture, implant removal is a simple, out patient procedure with an easy recovery.  If the situation is more complex, with capsule tissue that is firm or calcified - a capsulectomy may be needed.  For women with a lot of loose skin, a breast lift may be recommended.  These would both add to the recovery time, but neither is considered "high-risk".

Depends: If there are no complications, i tell my patients that they should begin to feel like themselves again after a couple of months.  Most patients can get back to regular activities in a few days or couple weeks, and full maturity of the scars takes up to 2 years.  The degree of "droop" or irregularity (dents) in the breasts may be variable after surgery.

Some : Some movement of the implants is normal and expected...
If the implants migrate too far into armpits or axilla this can bother some patients and prompt revision surgery.
Or if the implant is truly too small for the patients chest wall, a more proportional implant choice may be needed.

Usually 3 weeks: Typically you will feel better by 3 weeks but it may take up to 9 months to see stable aesthetic results.

There : There is no replacement for an in-person exam to give you proper advice but it really depends on how large your implants are, how much your tissues have stretched and how much natural breast tissue you have.
