See a doctor: Blood in the urine can be from tumors in the urinary tract (bladder, kidneys, urethra), from urinary tract stones, infection, or trauma.  You need to see a doctor whenever you see blood coming out of the penis, or any other body orifice for that matter.

Possibly: While other diseases can cause low white blood cell counts, the possibility of cancer in the bone marrow is always raised when this is seen.  Cancer cells can replace the normal cells of the bone marrow.  The normal cells produce mature circulating blood cells (white blood cells, red blood cells, and platelets).  If they are compromised, so are their products.

is passing a lot of gas a sign of cancer? im 38? have no blood in my stools just gassey at times?

: Your gas is more likely related to digestive issues or dietary changes. See your doctor or a gastroenterologist for evaluation.  Possibilities include, but are not limited to: lactose intolerance, pancreatic enzyme deficiency, sudden increase in fiber intake and food allergies.

Many causes
: Blood reflects capillary fragility and inflammation is the most common cause for bleeding. It may have to do with cold weather and or/cancer, which would not be a common cause for nose bleeds.

Not at 18 years old: Irregular periods are one of the most common problems obgyns treat. If this is one time problem it usually resolves on its own. If this is a recurring problem you should be evaluated. Infections &amp;  hormonal changes can cause spotting. If there is a concern for pregnancy then do  a home pregnancy test .  There are many options available to help regulate the menstrual cycle. Schedule a visit.

Could be.: But not likely at your age unless you have first degree relatives with colon cancer.  If the blood is bright red and at the end of the stool or only coating the stool ( vice incorporated into the stool) this is likely due to hemorrhoid. 

Dark red blood, sticky blood or blood in the stool are some reasons to have further evaluation.

Lower GI endoscopy: The symptoms may occur with hemorrhoids, anal fissure and anal cancer (or lower GI cancer). It is suggested that he see a gastroenterologist and have a lower GI endoscopy performed.

: All laboratory results need to be interpreted in the clinical context and the doctor who ordered the tests is usually in the best position to do that. Talk to the doctor who ordered the tests. Having said that, iron deficiency is a common cause of elevated platelet counts and it is common in young women. Take oral iron and multivitamins and retest in 3-6 months.    Wish you good health!
