Not Mirena (levonorgestrel): None of these symptoms are related to a Mirena (levonorgestrel) IUD. Sounds like you have have an inner ear problem. I would start with a primary care doctor. Go through your symptoms and let them organize a thorough evaluation

hello im having tinnitus in one ear only i went to 2 ent doctors 1 of them told me i have hearing loss and the other one told me my hearing is fine i dont know who to believe anymore im going nuts .. could stress be causing it ? i have anxiety?

: If you're not satisfied, for best evaluation &amp; advice consult a neurootolaryngologist at the department of otolaryngology at a university hospital near you.  I think tinnitus can cause stress and not vice versa.

age 40.history of cholesteatoma mastoid surgery.ear cleared of wax after hearing loss 6 week ago.last 2weeks loose brown/maroon discharge most mornings and loud tinnitus causing sleep loss/anxiety.ent r/v in 6weeks but is it more urgent?thanks?

: Rather recent onset of severe tinnitus warrants a more urgent evaluation especially if hearing loss persists.  The discharge is consistent with ongoing drainage of ear wax which may have something to do with the recent onset tinnitus. See the ENT soon. .

Depends: Depends on if the causes of ear ringing like medications such as aspirin,  ear wax and vestibular dysfunction have been eliminated.
Visit the Doctor to get an otoscope exam and labs.  Only after that would I consider anxiety as a cause of ringing in the ears.  Anxiety is easily treated with oral medication which would stop this problem if it was the reason for the concern.

Tinnitus: Depending on your age it could be few different issues. Your lightheaded ness need to be assessed whether vertigo or not. This could be part of menier's disease and ENT consultation might be helpful. Also types of medications you take might be culprit.  Your medical history   would guide your physician here. Anxiety is usually the last diagnosis after we exclude all clinically pertinent conditions.

Unusual symptoms: By and large, phantom smells are not a frequent sign or diagnostic featue for an anxiety disorder. One would need to have a better history and tohrough diagnostic intervie to assess this symptom. On the other hand, whle ringing in the ears belongs to what we call tinnitus, which can also be linked to harmless, albeit bothersome occurence but could also be linked to anxiety.
