Try other things: You can maintain hydration by using interesting alternatives to fluids. Apple sauce is 95% water as are grapes/peaches/pears/etc. Jello can also provide fluid value. Most vegetables are 60% water. Propel is okay if your kid is over a year as is pedialyte but seldom necessary. As long as the kid pees every 6-8 hrs she is not getting dehydrated.

Bad idea: I am guessing that you are thinking this might be an effective way to lose weight.  It is a dangerous practice and not a good alternative to intelligent dieting and exercising.  When you vomit the stomach acid irritates and damages the throat, can get into the lung with serious consequences, will dissolve your tooth enamel leading to loss of all your teeth.  This is called bulimia.
