No: I don't know of any medical therapy (chinese or western) that can treat a hydrocele successfully.

Possibly: Hydroceles can grow over time if left untreated. They may grow very slowly or more rapidly depending on the activity level of the patient.

Accepted Answer

No: There is no reason to believe that hydrochlorothiazide helps treat hydroceles.  If a patient has scrotal edeam due to fluid overload, then a diuretic such as hydrochlorothiazide may help improve the condition by removing extra fluid from the patient.

See a urologist: If this is symptomatic do not put up with it. 
Get to the urologist. 
You can support your scrotum,  have it aspirated,  sclerosis of the scrotum lining or open surgery. Do not expect this to get better on its own.

: Those 2 conditions rarely but may affect fertility. If that is the case, your semen should be abnormal and you should not blame to those conditions if your semen is completely normal. Good luck.

: I don't know what "edging" is, but in "solo sex" masturbation is likely and ejaculation will not affect fertility or testes.  On the other hand, low sperm count, the important part of male infertility, is seen in men with hydrocele, and the latter should be evaluated.

i developed a hydrocele after 1 week of laparoscopic varicocelectomy. my dr said it'll probably go away on its own in about 2 months. is this true and does it take that long? i really don't want another surgery. and how can i ease the pain (mild)?

: If it's a small hydrocele it may eventually resolve without any treatment and it appears to be good advice by your surgeon. Large or persistent hydroceles are often treated by aspiration or surgery. Follow up with your surgeon. Ask about pain treatment. You can also get a second opinion if you're not satisfied with your treatment or advice.
