i'm taking cymbalta 20mg(once a day), adderall xr 30mg, and gilenya (fingolimod) 0.5mg. is it safe to take these together? especially cymbalta & adderall.

Medication effects: I commend you for safety concerns about medications which you are taking.

Cymbalta may increase the effects of Adderall- jitteriness, nervousness, anxiety, restlessness, and racing thoughts.
Combining these medications can also increase the risk of a rare but serious Serotonin Syndrome with confusion, hallucination, seizure.
Please go to ER and see a Psychiatrist for Diagnosis and treatment.

im on 30mg of adderall xr in the morning for severe adhd and on 25-50mg of hydroxyzine and 10mg of prozac at night for sleep and anxiety. is it safe to take these meds like this?

: There is major interaction between prozac and adderall and hydroxyzine may increase the side effect of prozac even at a low dose. I just want to make sure all three medications are prescribed by the same doctor who is experienced in treating behavior disorder. If these meds come from different doctors, you need to discuss with the doctor who takes care your behavior problem.

i'm currently on 20mg of adderall xr daily. my wellness doctor has sent me a nitric oxide supplement from berkeley life. obviously, one is a vasodilator and the other is a vasoconstrictor. this concerns me! is it safe to take both daily?

Best not: An initial dose of 30mg Adderal would be expected to cause some anxiousness. Best talk to your provider about possibly a lower dose. Xanax does not interact with Adderal in a bad way, it's just best to address the root of the problem. If you find you need 30mg,  the side effects are likely to diminish with time.

: All meds are to be taken as instructed. While there are no known drug-drug interaction between adderall, nurtec and phenergan, they all can cause side effects and the risk increases with polypharmacy.

: According to the National Library of Medicine, there are no known interactions between Excedrin Migraine and Adderall XR. However, it is always best to consult with a healthcare professional before taking any medication, especially if you have any underlying medical conditions or are taking other medications.

It is generally safe to take Excedrin Migraine 4 hours after taking 20mg Adderall XR.

Not necessarily: There are risks and benefits to any medication. Adderall XR is a stimulant that has a high risk of dependency/addiction. Most people who are prescribed Adderall, whoever, do not become addicted (and 20 mg daily is not a particularly high dose). Modafinil has much less addiction potential (if any at all) and is generally considered safe and well-tolerated.
