Yes but . . .: There's no study proving any benefit from taking any or all of the supplements you've noted. Well, no large randomized, double blind, placebo controlled, studies (unless laboratory-proven deficient). Maybe a few observational ones but that's about it. Therefore, it's not clear that any specific order is better than another. If you're concerned, ask prescribing doc for his/her recommendation.

i want to start taking supplements. the ones i specifically will get are zinc (30mg), vitamin c (3,000mg), vitamin d3 (400ui) and biotin (5,000mcg). how do i go about easing into all of them? or is it safe to take all at once and take them daily?

: You could take multiple vitamins daily, however your choice to take very high doses of certain vitamins may need for you to look into the pros and cons more. The use of megadose of vitamins may not be as beneficial as proposed, because like vitamin C is excreted in the urine if taken at high doses so it is a waste that does not benefit the body. Vitamins could be toxic if too high like vitamin D.

Yes: Taking a daily dose of zinc supplement is not harmful. It should not cause problems with copper deficiency.

Zinc copper: I know of no evidence that that taking zinc helps anything other that to lighten your billfold. Avoid all supplements is my advice.  There is no regulation of what goes in them.

Supplements: I am not sure why you have decided to take these supplements. If you are a healthy person in your mid 30s, there is no reason for you to take them. It would be better to eat a balanced diet, including fruits, vegetables, whole grains and fatty fish (such as salmon). If you are healthy, you probably can take calcium 1000-1200mg, magnesium 400-500mg, zinc 10-40mg and fish oil 1000-4000mg daily.

Controversial: Not clear that one requires a menu of supplements if consuming a standard balanced American diet.  This is so contentious that it is possible to find a plethora of opinions online, and hard to say how to proceed.  Your multivitamin may or may not be safe, and may not even contain listed amounts of supplements.  A good source is "Consumer's Reports" where this has been studied.

As far as we know: Oratane (also known as Isotretinoin) is a medication that has known bad interactions with an antibiotic known as Tetracycline. Since it is a derivative of Vitamin A it is also suggested that Vitamin A not be taken along with it. There is no certain data about any interactions between Isotretinoin and Zinc or Vitamin C.

Zinc deficiency: Only indication for zinc suppliment is low blood level of zinc, otherwise is un-necessary and is quite rare in men. Symptoms would be: low zinc levels include hair loss, reduced alertness, sense of taste or smell. Good diet, incuding red meat or poultry. Baked beans, peas or nuts if you are vegetarian. Beware interference with any necessary medications like antibiotics. Most peoplle don't need it
