It depends...: Many have herniated or bulging disks in the lumbar spine that do not cause symptoms. However, generally speaking, if a herniation is acute (occurring within a recent time period) and is causing symptoms, then running should be suspended. The high-impact nature of running may cause the symptoms to increase or persist. Swimming or the elliptical generally are better choices in this situation.

Most likely...: Most likely you have lumbar strain but it still could be something else... If the pain gets worse, starts shooting down a leg or doesn't go away, see a healthcare provider.  Good luck.

Eventually: If your symptoms have improved and you have given the disc time to heal then you should be cleared for sports. I typically will restrict may patients for 6-12 weeks depending on the severity of the symptoms and herniation. If there is concern then a good course of physical therapy will help prepare you for sports and help assess you ability to play.

Stretch: The sneeze is causing a localized vibration/trauma which causes the spine to shift and impinge upon the nerve rootlets..

Yes: Pain, numbness and/or weakness are important symptoms. Have it checked at the earliest.

Many symptoms...: While this could be a sign of a herniated disc, it sounds a little more like facet arthritis as it does not radiate to different areas and does not have a constant dull ache. That being said, a physical exam and imaging would be necessary to be sure. If you are concerned about an actual herniation, then I would recommend seeing a physician for an exam to be safe.

does kinesio tape help if you have a herniated disk in the lower back? why does my knee hurt and burn just as much as my back?

Very little evidence: Kinesio tape has been shown to have very little or trivial benefit in treating musculoskeletal sports injuries, and there's less evidence to support using it in back injuries.  Sciatica, or radicular back pain, will cause pain away from the injury which can be quite severe. The good news is that sciatica is very treatable and your back and leg pain should both resolve.

Yes: Because the disc is impinging the nerve that goes down your leg. Treatment options include conservative treatment, steroid injections, and surgery depending on extent of the herniation, symptoms, signs, etc. Consult a neurologist.

It is not normal: Pain is never normal. There are various lower back disorders which could cause pain during the period. I can appreciate your concerned about your health, but finding a proper diagnosis and treatment may be the answer to your worries. Rec.: see your physician for examination, tests and referral, if needed, for the treatment.

Pinched nerve: Sounds like a pinched nerve to me 
they can come on for no apparent reason 
if not better soon then see your doctor.
