Not Likely: It takes time to develop the tolerance that would lead to a withdrawal event.   I would excpect this to take several weeks of continuous daily alcohol intake.

Yes: Don"t know what you mean by seriously, but drinking  more than about 6 drinks on a daily basis could lead to some withdrawal symptoms.

: Depends on you and your liver and meds you may be taking.

To test I would stop drinking sand check BP and pulse every 3 hours and record if you feel jittery or not each time. Keep a diary and share with your Dr.  You did not say how much total CD ethanol you get every day.  Drink size is important to document especially in an alcoholic. If BP and pulse go up &amp; you are jittery you are withdrawing

doctor has upped my vitamin b complex to 3 times daily. each capsule contains 85mg thiamine and i am on 600mg thiamine daily already.  is for alcohol withdrawal. no drink in 2 weeks now but have auditory noises and still humming and buzzing in legs?

Nerve injury: Humming and leg buzzing suggests damage to peripheral nerves, likely from the alcohol,consumption and dietary lack. Discuss other vitamins/mineral supplements  and dietary needs with your doc as well as other ways to control these symptoms while your body heals. The auditory noises may be tinnitus which may or may may not have  been caused by the alcohol, but still requires treatment

Alcohol withdrawal: Symptoms usually present within 6 hours of  drinking cessation. Milder symptoms  include anxiety, insomnia, tremulousness, GI upset, anorexia, headache, sweating, etc. If withdrawal does not progress (mild) symptoms  resolve within 24 to 48. Seizures and delirium tremens (dt's) are seen in more severe.  Unfortunately most doctors have seen patients succumb to lethal alcohol withdrawal.

No: If you have gone 7 days from last drink and have no withdrawal symptoms you are free of concerns regarding physical dependence. However psychological depence and cravings may remain.

: Two drinks a day is not what would be considered and excessive amount of alcohol but don't go driving immediately. Unless you experience a hankering to drink more you are probably not an alcoholic, why don't you abstain and see how you feel and then make up you mind and ask again!

: It depends on other factors like your size, liver function, intoxication, etc. Your ability to metabolize the alcohol will be a factor as well. Not drinking every day is a good way to avoid withdrawal symptoms. If you need help to not drink every day, see your doctor. Good luck to you!
