What is the threshold doctors worry about severe alcohol withdrawal? i drink about 5 days a week and about 25 drinks per week. i am a 27 year old, 230lb male?

Depends on you and your liver and meds you may be taking. To test I would stop drinking sand check BP and pulse every 3 hours and record if you feel jittery or not each time. Keep a diary and share with your Dr. You did not say how much total CD ethanol you get every day. Drink size is important to document especially in an alcoholic. If BP and pulse go up & you are jittery you are withdrawing
