Odd question: Hi. I must be missing something. Hot chips as in potato chips or French fries? Yes, of course it's OK. I'd stay away from hot paint chips and hot cow chips, however...indigestion and bad breath.

Yes, very safe: There is a very small risk of salmonella (a bacteria) from undercooked eggs but cooking thoroughly eliminates that risk. Eggs are one of the healthiest foods to eat, esp. in pregnancy, but I strongly advise choosing organic/pastured eggs when possible.

Herbs are drugs!: Maracuya is also called passionflower. The fruit and above ground parts of this vine are being used as herbal medicines. It works as pain-, anxiety-, and spasm reliever, besides many others. In general the fruit is felt to be safe for consumption, however no specific data exists for eating the fruit during pregnancy. Eat only small amounts and avoid higher doses, part of "herbs are drugs" caution!

Yes, definitely: Very high levels of vitamin a such as in supplements of retin a (tretinoin) type medications are associated with birth defects.  However, no normal amount carrot consumption could cause any problems.  In general, eating lots of vegetables and fruits during pregnancy is a great idea.
