Can occur: Osteoarthritis (oa) can occur without being involved in an accident. Most commonly, oa occurs from over use of the joint. This is common in those who are active in sports or similar activities.

Depends : Depends on your health status and underlying diseases. It would be unusual at your age and we want to make sure it's not an inflammatory arthritis. You may need to see a rheumatologist

Lumbar disc : Pid or prolapsed intervertebral disc is a herniated disc.  Discs can be retained within the capsule or free fragments.  Discs not causing debilitating leg or back pain can definitely be helped by physical therapy or pilates.  Sometimes selective nerve root blocks can reduce pain so patients can undergo physical therapy.  Surgery is the last resort.  See your primary care for fatty liver.

Spine OA: All of these may be common particularly in patients over the age of 40.  The changes on an MRI or an x-ray may not correlate with areas of pain.  I usually recommend that my patients use topical therapy with agents such as diclofenac or lidocaine.  In addition, I recommend that my patients undergo aggressive core strengthening exercises on a routine basis.

: This may be an early sign of degenerative changes in your knee (otherwise known as arthritis). This may also be a sign of an old injury to the knee. I would recommend you continue to do strengthening exercises and try to remain as active as possible. If it begins to become more bothersome, I recommend seeing an Orthopaedic surgeon or non-operative sports medicine physician to discuss treatment.

Osteoarthritis: Drugs like hydrocodone will work for a little while but your body will get used to them and they stop working which is the case with you.  You can drug differing anti-inflammatory agents such as ibuprofen, naproxen.  These two drugs are over the counter so if they work for you these are cheap solutions and are worth a try.  It is best to get off the hydrocodone.  Your doctor can help you.

Exercise: Routine exercise has also been shown to be beneficial.  Try a yoga, tai chi, or swimming.  30 minutes daily can improve sleep, depression, and fibromyalgia symptoms.

Problems: All of the problems you discussed are readily treatable. The RA, Osteoarthritis, and Fibromyalgia by a specialist Rheumatologist. The bacterial tooth &amp; gum infections, the halitosis, &amp; the Thrush by a General Dentist &amp; possibly a Periodontist. You can't do this yourself. Go get competent health care.

Cartilage breakdown: Oa occurs as the joint lining or articular cartilage begins to breakdown. The breakdown can be a result of trauma, injury, oversuse, malalignment, increased stress from excess weight, poor nutrition, a lack of exercise, or a combination of any of these items.
