No : That is not a normal reason to do a hysterectomy at all. Usually when a hgsil pap is found then a colposcopy is done. Once a colposcopy is done then a biopsy is done which gives you a diagnosis. Once a diagnosis is made then options such as cryotherapy, leep and cold knife conization is done to rule out cervical cancer.

Treatment : Treatment options depend on the stage of the cancer, the size of the tumor, the patient's desire to have children and her age.  Not every patient is treated with a hysterectomy.  Very early disease can be treated with several other options.  Laser surgery is a surgical procedure that uses the cutting power of a laser beam to make bloodless cuts to remove a tumor.  Conization is surgery done to remove a cone-shaped piece of tissue from the cervix and cervical canal.  Cryosurgery is a procedure in which tissue is frozen by liquid nitrogen or liquid carbon dioxide to destroy abnormal cells.  
Hysterectomy is used for the woman who does not want to have children or who has more advanced disease. During this surgery, the uterus and cervix are removed, and sometimes the tubes and ovaries are also removed.  Radiation and/or chemotherapy are also used for patients who cannot undergo surgery, or who have advanced disease.  Because there can be numerous treatment options depending on the clinical situation, the doctor and patient should make the decision together to come up with the best outcome for that patient.

Probably hormones: You didn't mention if your ovaries were removed with the hysterectomy or if you were placed on hormone replacement therapy..These along with age related changes can affect hormone balance in your body. A hormone called prolactin can cause milk discharge, and changes in estrogen can create breast tenderness. Get a breast examination and hormone panel blood test at your doctor to evaluate properly.

Check estradiol dose: If indeed both ovaries  were removed and "flashes" and other vasomotor symptoms are very troublesome the benefits of taking estrogens like estradiol at this point (to improve your sense of wellbeing, sleep better, protect your bones) are quite likely to outweigh the risks. The dosage of your estradiol may be insufficient or the route of administration may have to be changed(oral, vaginal, dermal)

i feel that it may be time for hormone replacement as i'm experiencing hot flushes and insomnia very badly in le last 2 to 3 months. kindly assist with recommendations?

See GYN MD: You need to see a GYN MD who can do a blood test to see if the remaining ovary is still functioning. If no,t hormone replacement therapy(HRT) can be initiated. If systemic HRT is given prior to the functioning remaining ovary ceasing natural production, it will "shut down" that production prematurely.

Austin is close: We do same day myomectomy here in austn just 100 miles away from waco with an overnight stay in the hospital in the event of delayed bleeding. I don't know anyone in waco at this time that offers what you are looking for.

Options: There are a number of options:

a Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud
oral progestins
endometrial ablation

in some cases a hysterectomy can still be done with a temporary bridge off of Coumadin to heparin.   This would only be done in special cases, however, and in some cases would have particular risks associated with it.

Surgical indication: If there is a clear surgical indication for hysterectomy at age 28 (like a cervical cancer) a Gyn oncologic surgeon can and will discuss the pros and cons of hysterectomy with a patient and assist her  in the difficult process to arrive at a "shared decision making" for hysterectomy.
