Avoid decongestants.: Best to check with your nephrologist for specific advice that is tailored to you. Many cold medicines with decongestants can raise blood pressure and most dialysis patients already have high blood pressure. Coricidin HBP contains medicines that will not affect your blood pressure so this may me a safe option.

: At age of 27 years, if you have heart condition, less likely to be ischemic heart disease. Biscodyl is stimulating agent for treatment of constipation. It will be helpful to know more about heart disease and indication for particular medicine and frequency of need.  Could not say yes or no.

Unknown: This herbal supplement is obtained from a plant in the tomato family. It contains withanolides (steroidal lactones), alkaloids, choline, fatty acids, amino acids, and a variety of sugars. Like any plant or herb, the unknown compounds like alkaloids can have undesirable side effects. Since no testing has been done, we do not know if ashwagandha is safe for glaucoma patients.

Probably not: Anafranil (clomipramine) does carry cardiac risk.  It can prolong the QT interval putting one at risk of dangerous heart rhythms. A recent heart attack&amp;AV BLOCK are known listed contraindications to using it.  Common cardiac side effects are tachycardia, less common side effects include arrhythmias.  And more rare side effects include low platelets, which may be an issue if on antiplatelet meds. Hope this helps
