is moisturizing or drinking water good for my bad sunburn?

Sun burn: Human skin can be burned by exposure to heat. There are 3 kinds of burns: first degree, where the skin is red. Second degree, where there are blisters, and third degree, where there is damage to flesh. A sun burn is a 1st degree burn, and while drinking water is good, it will not help your sun burn. Use cool compresses, and a moisturizer and a Hydrocortisone cream, and avoid further heat.

i went to the pool few days ago. uv 9-7 for about 3 hours. got a bad bad sunburn and since then i dont feel good. i feel dehydrated no matter how much water or gatorade i drink. i feel hot all the time and runny/stuffy nose, no energy. will i be ok?

: Stay away from the sun for a few days and you should be fine. Next time use skin protection and a hat. Good luck

This : This should be evaluated, try your physicians office to see if they will take you in today as an emergency, if not try an urgent care facility and as a last resort see an emergency department.  You need to be evaluated since this is increasing in size and it may not be related to the sun.

Thanks for asking!: Drinking water is very good for the body and what happens with a sun burn is it helps to hydrate the skin and allow the tissue to become more plumb.  I would also apply topically some products that are hydrophilic or water loving that will help to soothe the skin.  Of course, use spf everyday to avoid this problem.

Blisters sunburn: You likely have a first degree borderline second degree burn. Blisters will resolve overtime.  Solarcaine is a topical anesthetic that would help you.  Keep this area protected from the sun

why does it taste so bad when i have a cold? every single time i develop a cold, it starts with my saliva feeling slimy and tasting terrible for a good 2-3 days. drinking a lot of water helps the problem, but i can only drink so much. what do i do?

Congestion: Your congestion with post nasal drip will cause that taste and feeling. This is normal for a cold. Drinking water or other non-caffeinated fluids is a good idea, as you are doing. Foods that are liquidy can also help. If you develop a fever, or worsening cough, bad headache, or vomiting,please see your doctor

my hair texture has changed a little, and stopped having frizz at all but at the same time there are very oily parts that dont go away even when i wash it, it changed when i start being healthy and drinking lots of water. good or bad?

: The oily parts probably take care the frizz. Good or bad is up to you, probably good if you do not like frizzy hair. You can use shampoo for oily hair if you want to take care the oily parts provided your hair does not return to the old shape.

See your doctor: If you have fatty liver, i strongly suspect you are drinking more than a "few, " - or that term means something else to you than it does to me.  If you have a fatty liver, you should not be drinking any alcohol at all.  Whether the fatty liver is from obesity or drinking alcohol, more alcohol will only make it worse, and can lead to scarring, cirrhosis, liver failure and liver cancer. See your dr.

: Discomfort in the midline of the upper abdomen relieved by eating is a characteristic of benign ulcers of the stomach or duodenum.Malignant ulcers in the stomach are often aggravated by eating. Awakening in the AM with an urgent need for a BM is often seen in irritable bowel syndrome unless this is a recent development in your case.
