NO: Coke is  very toxic (in my opinion) & has way too much sugar in it already. If you have diarrhea now is a good time to avoid sodas & other unhealthy foods. Avoid fried foods & dairy, which can be hard to digest. Drink lots of fluids. Chop up vegies (greens, potatoes, carrots, onions), add salt & simmer in water for 20 minutes; drink the broth to replace lost minerals. If persists see your doctor.

Diarrhea: If the diarrhea is only a few days old, it may be due to some food reaction or an intestinal tract viral infection. Both resolve in a few days with avoidance of harsh roughage, intake of adequate fluids and taking kaopectate to control diarrhea. The odor is nonspecific. If you're having chronic diarrhea, then see your physician or gastroenterologist for testing. Possible Gluten or lactose intolera

Stomach flu: Is a viral gastrointestinal infection. There is no effective treatment for this condition. Have a good rest and drink a lot of water. Wash your hands after handling food (the condition is contagious).

Alcohol malabsorptio: Diarrhea, weight loss and osteoporosis are prominent symptoms and clinical signs of alcoholism. One of several possible factors causing this clinical picture is small intestinal damage leading to malabsorption alcohol inhibits the breakdown of nutrients into usable molecules by decreasing secretion of digestive enzymes from the pancreas (2). Alcohol impairs nutrient absorption by damaging the cell.

Need to examine: Drinking more water would not cause diarrhea. The two events are likely coincidental. If you have had unintended weight loss, it is imperative that you consult a physician. 
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine, if you are under 27 years of age.

Pancreatitis: The story of loose yellowish stools is sign of steatorrhea.  Here there is no pancreatic juice function to dissolve and absorb fat that can be measured by radioactive triolein. Also here is obstruction of bile duct .Steatorrhera not common with pancreatic Ca. More ilkely  pancreatitis  from common duct stone. Need ERCPand bx of pancreas duct and CAT scan of abdomen.

have numerous echogenic gallstones /extensive shadowing 3.1 mild wall thickening. no pain eating anything pizza / burgers . semi loose stools 50 % of time. i drink a lot of alcohol 3 days a wk. surgeon wants to remove gallblader im 72 am i at risk?

: There is no absolute indication of cholecystectomy for asymptomatic gallstones (cholelithiasis) unless your primary doctor and surgeon suspect chronic pancreatitis as the cause of loose stool. Alcohol does not cause gallstones and cholelithiasis by itself does not cause loose stool but there is certain relationship between alcohol, cholelithiasis and chronic pancreatitis.

Normal variation: Since your child is acting well, the stools that you observe could be from a change in diet or from an increase in water as you describe and especially if there was an increase in juice or sweetened beverages.  If there is fever, cramping, abdominal pain, or blood in stools, further assessment would be recommended.

More food diary: I would suggest you keep track of a more consistent, thorough food diary to see what other foods you are reacting to. Is there pattern of dairy? gluten products? You could also try a lactose free diet for two weeks to see if that helps the situation.
