No: Paronychia is an infection of the area where to the fingernail or toenail meets the skin.  It is usually a bacterial infection, whereas Fluconazole only treats fungus.  The treatment usually involves hot soaks and sometimes surgical drainage.  Fluconazole is unlikely to help., .

Causes : If you had surgery of the nail you can develope a hematoma in the nail bed tissue when this drys it becomes very hard. I would return to your surgeon and show them the area of concern.

currently taking 450 mg of fluconazole once a week for fungal chronic paronychia (no pus) after all 10 toenail removal. what antibiotic ointment, cortisone, and/or antifungal cream will help with skin peeling, redness and regrowth of the cuticles?

: You do not need antibiotic ointment, and cortizone is a bad option. You could use any cream you like otherwise, since you are on oral fluconazole, you do not have to use topical antifungal unless you want to. Keeping it moist with any lotion may help as you have need.

No...: Chronic bronchitis is a form of copd. It is usually a result of smoking. There is no infection present in chronic bronchitis. Smoking cessation is important for prevention.

: Contagiousness depends on the viral load in circulation, untreated, both acute and chronic are contagious. A person on regular anti HIV treatment with no detectable virus in blood is generally not contagious.

No and no: Many of the diseases we see today like diabetes, hypertension, copd, asthma, etc are chornic but not contagious. "acute issues do arise from chronic diseases that are not treated or not treated properly. Contagious diseases are often infections and can be spread from person to person.

Mono: Most of the population carry the virus for mono. Once you have the virus you continue to carry it. You are no more likely to pass it to him than anyone else. All the best.

The : The short answer- possibly.  A person with chronic tonsillitis that is caused by group a strep is contagious until they are 24 hours into a course of antibiotics.  A person with chronic tonsillitis that is caused by other conditions such as acid reflux or enlarged tonsils is not contagious.  As you may have guessed, the only way to find the answer is to see the doctor.

Epstein Barr virus: EBV probably is transmissible by saliva for only a few weeks after recovering from mononucleosis. "Chronic mono" is usually not actually mononucleosis and not caused by EBV (as your "regardless" comments suggests you already know), and therefore is not transmissible.

my friend has chronic halitosis and a white tongue. is it contagious?

Halitosis: The most common cause of halitosis is poor oral hygiene and lack of  dental care.  The white patches may be food debris on the tongue or possible a thrush infection.  If your friend has not seen a dentist have them start with a dental exam.  If this is the case then it isn't contagious and you should not worry.  Just keep on brushing and flossing your teeth.
