Unknown: There is no "evidence based research" to support the use of biopuncture or accupuncture to treat allergy or asthma. In fact, untreated asthma leads to 5, 000 deaths and 500, 000 hospitalizations per year. Biopuncture can be used an adjunctive therapy, but i would never recommend this over the scientifically proven treatment. See your primary doctor.

Absolutely!: It sounds like you need to talk with your doctor about starting asthma and allergy controller therapy. There are several prescription medicines that, if you use them every day, will keep your symptoms under better control and allow you to get back to normal activities. There have been many olympic athletes who have had asthma but did great because they used their asthma controller medicines.

Hard to answer: I am guessing you concern about pollution, different tress and plants (hay fever types) and hot or cold temperatures. Its hard to answer without specifics. If you triggers are indoor types like animal dander, dust mites, etc , moving to another part of the country may not help. Talk this over with your physician.

Only microweave synthetic fabric covers have been shown to reduce dust mite levels. "allergy" mattress covers that are made by pressure stamping fibers were shown to provide a great place for dust mites to live so they can crawl out and eat your shed skin cells. Get more information before u buy.

Accepted Answer

Avoid allergens: It depends on the underlying cause and the severity of the symptoms. Avoiding the allergen triggering the symptoms and if you are pollen allergic, closing the windows may help.
Saline rinses of the nasal passages and eyes will help remove any dust or pollen that may be triggers of your allergic symptoms. Asthma is treated with medications prescribed by your doctor, but avoiding triggers can help.

Surgical mask: A N 95 mask is worn to prevent COVID-19 particularly among those who are at risk. If you can obtain one, this may be used. Otherwise a surgical mask to protect you and others is fine. If you do not have a surgical mask, then making one at home from a cotton scarf folded several times with elastic loops attached is suggested.

Bronchodylators: Better to use inhaled bronchodylators (beta 2 agonists) and anti-inflammatory meds (steroids). Allergy shots do not work very well for asthma. An internal medicine doctor should be able to take care of your problem.

Absolutely: While not 100% protective, it will still reduce the number or inhaled particles. Keeping distance will help too, avoiding elevators, subway, etc.
