Infection?: You are self medicating.. you do not even know if you have an infection. Even if you do, antibiotics alone will not solve your problem... you need to have a dentist take a look at that problematic tooth. Forget about the expired meds and make an appointment for treatment.

Amoxicillin: They are probably quite safe, but effectiveness is another issue. Check with the pharmacy or the company and they will tell you the expiration date. Most last twice as long as the projected expiration date.

Yes: In fact probiotics have been used to prevent colic symptoms in fants.  Would recommend powder version for children at store such as whole foods.  Lactobacillus and bifiderus are the strains hat are helpful.

Never advisable: It is never advisable to Take medication after their expiration date has passed.  Active metabolites bay be diminished and the drug may not be as effective.  You can build resistance because of this

If you believe that you need amoxicillin for a new illness, I would recommend you see your physician to evaluate you again.  Not every infection is bacterial (some are viral) and different bacterial infections require different antibiotics.  Plus your amoxicillin could have become less effective since it a year old expired.  But you need to see your doc for your new illness/medical issue.

Yes: Yes...Remember that Guaifenesin only works if taken with enough water.   As a general rule, if the your urine is clear, you're hydrated.  Dark yellow....Drink more water!

Yes: It is safe to take Amoxicillin and hydrocodone together.  Amoxicillin is an antibiotic whereas hydrocodone is a narcotic analgesic.  They shoud both be taken with food.  Hydrocodone will cause drowsiness.
