See your doc: Hello If you believe that you need amoxicillin for a new illness, I would recommend you see your physician to evaluate you again. Not every infection is bacterial (some are viral) and different bacterial infections require different antibiotics. Plus your amoxicillin could have become less effective since it a year old expired. But you need to see your doc for your new illness/medical issue.
