Iron deficiency: Most of the time iron deficiency is detected when the CBC is abnormal. However, some cases may still show numbers in the normal range, but tending towards a pattern consistent with iron deficiency. If the iron, iron binding and serum ferritin (panel) all point to deficiency then treatment is good. But should also ask why iron is low.

how are cancer cells or tumors or anything causing other symptoms detected ? blood test ? i had a panel and cbc and full blood ? stool urine ?

Cancer: There are no blood tests that rule in or out all cancers with certainty. Your physician would order specific tests such as xrays, scans,mri, endoscopy depending on your symptoms or physical examination findings or certain screening of urine,stool, sputum,etc. Tissue biopsies are then done to confirm a diagnosis of cancer. For example, blood in stool or urine leads to scoping; skin lesion biopsied

i have had red splotches on my eyelids and under my eyes for 6-8 months. i have had a full myositis blood panel and cbc, c1, c4 all negative but my rnp is 1.7. with only a positive rnp and not ana rule out mctd ?

Eyelid red splotches: This is most likely a benign skin condition and not a connective tissue disease and all laboratory testing will not be useful.  Go see Dermatologist in person or via teledermatology for accurate diagnosis and treatment.

left & right upper chest knot feeling and pinching comes and goes for about 4 days now? rubber band sound feeling in right ear ? lighthead sometimes. head feels full. check bp and oxygen both good. got blood and tests 2 months ago ct panel cbc normal

Nondiagnostic: These varied symptoms are not explainable with one diagnosis. Sharp,fleeting chest pains often emanate from the nerves or muscles of the rib cage and have no relationship to heart or lungs. The eustachian tube which runs from high in the back of the nose to the middle ear may be clogged with mucus and this can account for the sound and lightheadedness. Discuss these possibilities with your MD.

See below: There is no need to do a CBC panel for a person your age, unless she has some symptoms that may warrant doing the test.
Wish you good health! - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. 
Practice safe sex, if you have sex. 
Get HPV vaccine

my cbc panel was normal in dec 2018. after a hysterectomy, my numbers are skewed. is this normal?

Could be: Without seeing your before and after hysterectomy numbers, can’t be specific. Generally if you had some blood loss (as most do with hysterectomy) then yes will affect our numbers. Also stress from procedure can affect platelet levels. Would recheck in 3 mo.

No: The tests you mentioned do not look for drugs, legal or illegal.
