is wellbutrin (bupropion) xl 150mg and zoloft 50mg a safe combination to take? i've read a lot of mixed answers.

SHOULD BE OK: This is not an unusual combination and is worth trying a
Zoloft is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor and Wellbutrin (bupropion) is a dopamine and norepinephrine reuptake blocker. So these two medications augment each other. The doses that you are trying are certainly conservative enough.

is it harmful that i took a lot of extra zoloft (sertraline)?

Avoid in general: Zoloft/sertraline in general is a safe medication. That said, it should be taken as prescribed by your doctor. The maximum daily dose is 200 mg. If you take large amounts of zoloft in combination with other serotonin medications, you could have a case of a rare but life-threatening condition called serotonin syndrome.

my friend snorted a zoloft and is in a lot of pain can it do damage?

: Of course this is a dangerous act. Zoloft tablets are not suitable for intranasal absorption and we wouldn't know how.much of the medication made it into his/her system. Perhaps too much too soon. The nasal membrane could also be injured. If severe nasal pain or any problematic  systemic side effects are present, your friend should be seen in the ER.

That depends: Some side effects may resolve within 2 to 4 weeks (or more), whereas, other side effects may remain.

Zoloft (sertraline): Zoloft (sertraline) can cause side effects of tiredness and nausea, at least temporarily.  Hopefully they will pass within a couple of weeks.  If exercising in general helps you feel better, it may work this way at this time also.

Alternative Treatmen: You may want to consider alternatives to zoloft (sertraline). The medication does not cure depression. The cure is in the talking therapy, medication is used so that a person can benefit from talking psychotherapy.

Stress: You should discuss this with your primary care physician and/or your psychiatrist.  You may need an adjustment or change in medication along with counselling.

Breath.: Breath in slowly ; deeply through your nostrils. Fill your lungs with air (but not to the point of discomfort). Hold for a count of five then slowly begin to exhale through an open mouth. Repeat at least 12 times, longer if you need to.  Let your physician know about any medication side effects you are experiencing. Hopefully these will resolve. Take care.

Don't double-up: Try to find a more fool-proof method to remember your medication, but do not take another dose unless it is only a few hours late. Missing one dose should not cause a problem - you have lots in your system from earlier. some (most) of the symptoms you felt so soon were psychologically based - it's the opposite of the placebo (nocebo). Both are quite powerful! You can take today's a bit early.
