Probably not: Sounds like you developed a pigmented scar but to be safe, you should have your doctor look at it.  You don't want to take a chance with melanoma that the thing has recurred.  If s/he is satisfied that it is only a scar, there are treatments which can lessen the irritation and itching and fade the pigment.

i had a biopsy on a mole near my vagina 7 weeks ago. tried having sex last night and it was irritating where the biopsy was made.will this always be ?

Mole Biopsy: The biopsy site needs to heal like any other injury. Remember that some tiny nerves were probably injured as well.   What were the results of the biopsy? If it was just a mole, the skin should heal, with help from a topical creme such as cortisone. It is possible that the new skin is sensitive and will, in time, return to normal soon. If the irritation doesn't resolve in a week or so, call your md.

Should not be: With a simple mole removal, it should not interfere with sexual function. Furthermore your wounds should be sufficiently healed at six weeks to permit normal sex. Hypersensitivity or mild numbness immediately around the incision may be normal. However what you are describing does not sound typical. See your surgeon.

Healing after Biopsy: It can take several weeks for a skin biopsy to heal. Most are completely healed within 2 months but some take longer.

How abnormal?: There is a range of abnormalities. The abnormality may be due to physical irritation, inflammation; dysplasia is also abnormal but removal of the lesion should take care of that. At the extreme, the abnormality may be due to cancerous cells. Please discuss the matter with your doctor.

Yes: A dermatologist has the highest skill level to be able to visually determine whether a mole is cancerous or not and can use a dermatoscope to add in visual diagnosis but the only 100% method is to biopsy the mole and send to a pathology lab for reading.

Small cuts: For small cuts and scrapes, once crusted over and not oozing or tender, it is best to leave them exposed to the air.

Removed: Taking biopsy of a mole is not a usual procedure. The mole should be removed in its entirety and tissue sent to a pathologist for examination.
