Irregular menses: Usually after a major surgery menstrual cycle can be altered for a variable length of time. Breastfeeding can further affect the regularity of your cycle. If you don't have any other symptoms, I suggest you observe it for the next 3 cycles.

Common problem: Irregular periods are one of the most common problems obgyns treat. If this is one time problem it usually resolves on its own. If this is a recurring problem you should be evaluated.   There are many options available to help regulate the menstrual cycle.  There are also medications available to help with ovulation n those trying to get pregnant. Schedule a visit.

Irregular menses: With a history of "irregular menses" at age 21, it may be due to stress ( in any form: work, school, relationships, exercise) which delays ovulation and therefore the period. If pregnancy is possible, get a serum HCG test to make certain about pregnancy.  Ask your healthcare provider about low dose oral contraceptives which can "regulate" your periods.

: Normal vaginal secretions are nonbloody, colorless and odorless. Did your symptoms occur soon after sexual intercourse? They may be due to bacterial vaginosis or other vaginal infection.. I recommend consulting a gynecologist for evaluation, testing and treatment advice.

Libido issues: At 39, one's periods may be farther apart , because of delay in ovulation.  Usually, estrogen levels are higher from age 35 on until menopause, but if ovulation is delayed, menstruation will be also.  Libido problems may be secondary to relationship issues, more than hormonal ones.

i have been menstruating for more than 24 days , i usually have irregular periods but it would never be as long as 24 days its usually 3/4 days or skip a month

One-time symptom?: A doctor can check to see if there is a medical issue, if a woman has mild menstrual-related symptoms. Many women have some variation of mucus discharge, of periods, or a missed period on occasion. Some women feel normal after a few days, but others have bothersome symptoms and call up their doctors. That said, a 24-day period is too long, so one's doctor will be happy to discuss it and help.
