Hpv treatment: some people who have changes in the cervix because of HPV will be offered what is called a loop electrical excision procedure, or LEEP, which is when a doctor will cut out a piece of the cervix and cauterize what is left in order to remove the area that can become cancer if not treated.

Probably not your: Cervix but your uterus please see your gyn for an evaluation, u may have endometriosis, fibroids, cysts, adhesions, infection to name a few , you need a comprehensive workup.

Need a gynecologist: Have you always had this problem? is it new? occurs every single time you have intercourse? are there times you have no pain? To me it sounds like you need to be seen by a specialist OB/GYN if you have not already. Vaginal sex generally speaking should not be painful. There are conditions such as endometriosis,STD's anatomical defects that are not diagnosed with CT scans.

Dysplasia: or pre cancerous cells of the cervix found by Pap smear can be treated with electrocautery.  Electrical arcing causes heat which destroys the superficial cells of the cervix hopefully destroying the precancerous cells.

Yes: Some women do not like stimulation of the cervix during sex, at any time.  That does not indicate there is anything wrong with your cervix.

Cervical contactpain: When the cervix is struck intra vaginally it "shakes" the ovaries which can cause a severe pain just like a man being struck it the testicles. This can happen if vaginal changes during intercourse have not occurred or there is an ovarian cyst or uterine fibroid present. It is unlikely to be a result of the d ; c two months ago unless you have an infection with a fever.

Possible : Also possibly from an infection. If it continues, see your doctor. Condoms are always recommended to protect against sexually transmitted infections.

dr shocked that 3 months post total hysto my dissolvable sutures near cervix were still completely intact. attempts to remove them were unsuccessful and now i have sutures poking my partner during intercourse. how can i soften or dissolve them?

: Best is to (again) see the GYN surgeon who performed the surgery, for an exam and another attempt to remove the stitches.  If by some chance the surgeon was handed a non-dissolvable type of suture, the problem will not resolve without removal.

Absolutely: As long as you have a vagina, you can have intercourse.  Of course, after you have healed from surgery and been given the ok from your surgeon.  You just can't get pregnant anymore.

have some sort of lump inside of cervix.  hurts everytime during intercourse. what is it. i am always moist but then when hit..it hurts.

It could be: cervical polyp, cervicitis , ovarian cyst. See your gyn,
