Dr shocked that 3 months post total hysto my dissolvable sutures near cervix were still completely intact. attempts to remove them were unsuccessful and now i have sutures poking my partner during intercourse. how can i soften or dissolve them?

Best is to (again) see the GYN surgeon who performed the surgery, for an exam and another attempt to remove the stitches. If by some chance the surgeon was handed a non-dissolvable type of suture, the problem will not resolve without removal.
