Maybe: There are about 5 to 10 percent of the general pipulation who will  need two varicella  immunizations to get immunity, however if you already had one  shot your dr could do bloodwork to see if the second is needed.

MMR and Varicella: MMR and Varicella vaccine are both live vaccines.  Terefore it is important to either give these two vaccines at the same visit or space the two vaccines at least 28 days apart.

: Usually a single booster after the childhood MMR is adequate to protect. If there is a question, you can have blood titers checked for measles mumps and rubella to see if you are protected.

The danger is...: In not giving it.  In the prevaccine age, far too many children died from complications of measles, new babies suffered severe damage from congenital rubella and mumps was the most common cause of viral meningitis in winter months. Please vaccinate your toddler.

28 days: The center for disease control recommends waiting 4 weeks after receiving the live vaccine MMR because of the theoretical risk to a fetus. No studies--where women have accidentally been given MMR before and after getting pregnant--has ever demonstrated actual harm but the cdc feels it prudent to be safe. Wait 28 days before trying.

Likely: Your daughter has likely been fully exposed to the mumps virus from before you knew you were ill. She will likely have it. The MMR is seldom given before a year of age except when a person will travel in a country with a lot of mumps.

Yes: Immunity can wane over the yrs.   Assuming yr immune system is intact and u are healthy, then an mmr-ii. Would now make you  immune.
