Symptoms: Did you have symptoms consistent with pancreatitis? Was the serum amylase elevated? Sometimes the lipase remains elevated after the inflammation of the pancreas subsides and the amylase returns to normal. Your gastroenterologist is best qualified to advise you,however.

Not likely: CRP and test that measure inflammation are very nonspecific.  They only show some inflammation is going on somewhere and not where the inflammation is.

You are correct: A chronically scarred pancreas (popularly miscalled "chronic pancreatitis") indicates that the cause of your pain is likely to be damage to the nearby nerves from the same process. Causes include alcohol & heredity. Have you been offered a procedure in which the nerves can be deadened by an injection through the stomach wall? I've only read of it. Good luck.

Pancreas: although any symptoms you may have need to be correlated with your lab and x-ray results, this CT scan seems to indicate that you do not have pancreatitis. If you're having persistent symptoms, see your doctor. Good Luck.
