Depends on cause: Infextiins inside the eye, or within the retina in the back of the eye are not common, and have many causes. Some respond to antibiotics, some need antivirals....You need to have an eye doctor tell i the cause, then the appropriate treatment.

Adhesion?: I assume you mean a chemical burn 8 years back. Chemical burns, particularly the more severe ones, can damage the eye membrane (conjunctiva) and cause scarring. Sometimes the area of scarring and repair tissue forms adhesions (gets stuck to) a part of the covering eyelid. These develop very slowly because the eyelid moves so much. Its worth having an eye doctor take a look.

one eye itchy, red and face/skin around the eye puffy. symptoms went away after a few days. i took no meds. symptoms came back 2 weeks later. eye doc says no infection and optic nerve looks good. ordered mri. should i be worried?

COULD BE SERIOUS: The concern here is 'peri-orbital cellulitis' which is an emergency. You describe severe pain and eye 'pushed out' --these are serious signs of infection and needs to be checked immediately.  A ct scan will help make the diagnosis. Usually a course of I.V. Antibiotics will take care of the infection and prevent complication.

Vague symptoms: Your symptom complex is rather vague and doesn't point to anything specific. Any general infection can certainly make you feel tired as you fight off said infection. This could also cause loss of appetite. Inadequate fluid intake could lead to dizziness. It's not clear what you mean by "exhausted behind the eye area". Best to go see your family doc.
