Wound: Yes, you can. The signs of infection - pain, drainage, usually milky white, green or yellow, swelling which is worsening, redness which is worsening or not getting better. If none of those are present, yes, you can go ahead and put an antibiotic ointment and either let it air dry or cover with a dressing (bandade). If the symptoms above are present and it's getting worse, see doc.

Wound care: Approxiamte edges, keep wound clean and most. Avoid sun and tobacco use. Consider topical silicone gel sheeting after 7-10' days. See a physician for evaluation.

: Maybe/not. Transfer of this virus requires fresh blood be transferred into a fresh wound. The virus is not tolerant to the outside environment and is not transferred like staph or strep by casual contact. If you can envision fresh blood (not 24 hr dried) being on the razor and entering your cut, you may have been exposed. Getting post exposure prophylaxis &amp; future testing is not unreasonable.

Humph: Try Bacitracin and leave open to air. Be careful!you did not say how deep, if deep seek care. I'm assuming is a razor burn cut.

No: IF you were exposed to HIV then the only way to be clean is to have no further exposures for a minimum of 6 months and test negatvie at that time.  If you are concerned you should see a doctor and get tested.
