Uncertainty: When a test result comes back as indeterminate, it means "inconclusive."  In other words, the degree of uptake into the mediastinal nodes was neither conclusively normal nor abnormal   Therefore the conclusion is uncertain or indeterminate.  It seems unfair to put you in this medical limbo but your doctor can do further tests to ascertain if the lymph nodes are overactive metabolically.

Dx histoplasmosis: You get a piece of the infected tissue and look at it under a microscope. Only way to be sure. Are you a spelunker?

It means: That a definitive diagnosis cannot be provided. For example, in the case of liver mass the MRI may be indeterminate if it cannot discriminate between something benign and something cancerous.

Ask your doctor: Obviously someone ordered a test that showed this result because they were suspicious of an infection or a lymph node or even a cancer.  You owe it to yourself and to that person to return for an explanation.  Good luck!

Indeterminant: You did not mention about findings of ultrasound and  thyroid scan. Please have fresh look with experienced endocrinologist, expert pathologist and thyroid surgeon. You can have slide read by other thyroid pathologist or have second fna by experience endocrinologist. 25-50% cancer rate.  Complex nodules must be watched closely. Complicated: It may mean nothing.  It is a directional index of the flow of electric impulses through the conduction system in the heart that allows it to respond with beating.  An indeterminate axis means that it cannot be clearly determined what the overall angle of electrical stimuli is.  It must be interpreted in the context of your clinical problems, or not.

Not formed yet: The bodies initial response is with igm, which is less specific. The immune system then produces permanent antibodies igg, which appear around 3 months.
Blood test has to be ordered for type specific igg type i or type ii.

: Solid lesions of testicles are of concern. Presence or absence of vascularity doesn't necessarily differentiate between benign or malignant masses. Your urologist will advise you best.

i got a letter stating my blood donation was tested for t. cruzi antibody. the result was indeterminate.  what does that mean?

Trypanosomiasis: This is a blood test for trypanosomiasis, also called Chagas' disease. It can be quite dangerous and is a common cause of serious heart problems in large areas of Africa and Latin America. If you are from one of those areas or have visited there, your test is more likely to be positive. At a minimum, you need retesting. See a doctor, preferably an infectious diseases specialist.
