You would still need: to do the work to lose it. Eat healthfully &amp; be physically active. Aim for 7.5 to 8 hrs of sleep / night. Hydrate w at least 64 oz of water / day. Calories burned must &gt; calories consumed.  Do both cardio &amp; weight training.

Variable: Weight gain is caused by many things other than implanon.  If it has been two months after Implanon has been removed and you have not lost weight then it was probably not from the implanon.  Weight gain is generally caused by consuming more calories then you are burning off.   Keep a food diary and consider starting an exercise program is a good way to start a healthy weight management program.

Depends: Could happen right away and certainly would not assume you cannot conceive so use protection unless you are wanting to be pregnant. If your cycles are not normal then i would seek an evaluation within 3-6 months of removal.

See answer: Neither birth control nor fertility and getting pregnant is an exact science and there are many variables and variations seen amongst individuals. Once Implanon is removed, the medicine is pretty much out of your system after about 1 week. However, the return of your hormones, fertility, and menstrual cycles to normal may take some time and varies from one individual to the next. Patience required.

Withdrawal bleeding: Bleeding after removal of implanon qualifies as hormone withdrawal bleeding and can occur within days, e.g., 11 days, after removal.

You had a progestero: Only implant in for a month, expect some irregular bleeding, could be hormonal, infectious, hard to say why you are spotting but probably need 2 get on the pill or something for contraception and to help improve this issue.  Good luck?

Yes: Your first period may follow the ovulation.

After removing: Implanon it can take 1-2 months for your periods to come back to normal.  If a woman doesn't get her period by 2 months after then i recommend seeing her doctor to figure out why she isn't ovulating.  Lack of ovulation can be from stress, weight gain or loss, too much soy or thyroid problem.  An ovulation test doesn't work unless a woman is having regular periods.

i have had unprotected sex the night of my implanon removal and the following two days. is there a change of becoming pregnant?

Not likely: Pregnancy has been seen as early as 7 days after Implanon removal. What you describe makes pregnancy unlikely but not impossible. Anyone having intercourse without birth control or condoms is at risk of getting pregnant. If sperm is deposited in the vagina then pregnancy is possible.Check a test in 10 days.

What do you want?: Do you want birth control or do you want to get pregnant? The birth control choice depends on your contraceptive needs moving forward, not the birth control you used in the past. It takes a couple with no fertility related issues ~8 months to conceive. If you are trying to conceive  and you have no success after 1 year i would seek professional advice on the options available. Don't worry yet.
