Rashes: Impetigo is a common skin infection in infants and children.  There is no standard incubation period.  It most commonly occurs in an area of skin irritation such as an injury, scratch, eczema, or around the nares.  Using an antibiotic ointment/cream early on irritated areas may prevent it.  First signs are redness then development of a yellowish crust when oral antibiotics are needed.

Unlikely: Sweating is a natural body function and has no direct effect on whether an infant would acquire such an infection. A baby of this age should not be swaddled to begin with, for sleep or otherwise. Babies can strangle themselves in such a set up.

Rashes are hard to describe in words, so an exam is needed. If it is impetigo (a bacterial infection of the skin), the doctor can prescribe some antibiotic treatment.
