my herbalist told me i have a "floppy colon." what is a floppy colon, and how does it effect the frequency and ability of having a bowel movement?

I am not aware: Of any medical condition called floppy colon.  Some people have colon that is loosely attached to retroperitoneum and that can sometimes lead to volvulus, or twisting.  But these conditions are usually discovered at surgery.  As your herbalist what he means, and how he can tell without actually visualizing the colon.

what is the definition or description of: impaired motor ability?

Accepted Answer

Excess or loss of: Impairment of motor function, stemming from lesions or chemical imbalances in the basal ganglia (mid brain) or the cerebellum.  Traumatic brain injury, strokes, chemical aberrations, and metabolic disorders can cause motor dysfunction.  Sometimes there is a loss of minute control of fine motor skills (writing drawing) and sometimes gross motor skills (e.g. walking, limb movement) are impaired.

will being on multiple drops to control glaucoma interfere with my ability to wear contacts during the day at work?

Yes: Speak withyour eye dr. But generally you should not be wearing contacts when using drops in the eye.

Possibly: Birth control pills can affect testosterone levels in woman which can, in some women, decrease libido and ability to orgasm.  Anti-depressants are another common culprit.  Best wishes!

BCP & fertility: Using bcp's will not improve your ability to have a baby in later life. Depending upon the number of partner that you've had you increase the risk of sexually transmitted infection and tubal damage which will impair your ability to conceive.

due to its ability to supposedly assist with fertility does maca root cancel out birth control?

Accepted Answer

Maca: There's very little scientific work done on maca root. There are many claims and some published work but nothing impressive. To answer your question is my guess is it is likely completely safe with bc. There is a large population that have maca in their diet and there are no adverse effects.   Also the suggested fertility benefit claims revolve around semen quality and libido. Perhaps use spermaci.

my eyes go white from the outsidr to the center during my motor control fails and i am forced to the ground and thats usually when my ability to speak and form thoughts goes too i regain everything a few moments to minutes after but im disoriented?

: Your description is consistent with epilepsy, and you need neurological evaluation and likely treatment ASAP.  Do NOT drive a motor vehicle, operate power equipment, do activities at heights, swim or take a bath alone.  You might choose to go to ER in a nearby hospital to facilitate your care.
