Why check IgA : Question is why were IgA levels checked. Do you have immune deficiency or IgA myeloma. Two common reason to check IgA levels. If IgA  myeloma history then you might need Hemoglobin electrophoresis to get more answers. Talk to your hematologist. If immune problem then consult a immunologist. Reference range IgA in adults is between 70-312 mg/dl.

Ask dr: The lab report should include a normal range for that lab  or the doctor should have told you whether it was normal or abnormal.

Probably: If this is considered normal value by your lab then it is normal. However this test is only reliable when you are consuming gluten.  If you have avoided gluten for some time, then you will need to get alternate tests.
