Low sperm count: Chance of pregnancy is reduced.  Have the sperm doner undergo examination and treatment for low sperm count.

Well : Sperm are unlikely to be fertile affective after 12 to 24 hours. However anytime we have sex you could get pregnant!

Do you mean: 0.5 million? If so the chances with IUI are quite poor I'm sorry to say.  That isn't to say impossible, but highly unlikely. Pregnancy rates with IUI are generally no better than 2-3% if sperm are below around 2 million. Talk seriously with your doctor, or A doctor, about ways to be successful. Good luck.

: The ejaculate eventually dries out and is discarded by the vagina but the sperms in it may go on further in to cause pregnancy no matter how they are inserted-finger or penis

Unlikely: If still worried, can do a pregnancy test. A urine test done correctly gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have happened) or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon. If a woman has her normal regular period, then she is not pregnant, and a test is not needed.

Pregnancy possible: Unprotected sex can lead to pregnancy. Take a pregnancy test if you miss a period. If negative, repeat the test in two weeks if menses does not start. Assume the sperm are alive and well.

Sperm motility: yes you can....the sperm swim up through the uterus through the tubes to encounter the egg.  By the time you stand up. There are thousands if not millions of sperm that have entered your uterus starting the journey.   The question is are you ovulating at the time and does he have an adequate sperm count. Probably yes, if...: If a woman is able to get pregnant with fresh sperm straight from a penis, then she is also able to get pregnant with fresh sperm from a finger. However, the penis can put a much larger amount of semen right at the cervix. The finger is better suited for other activities.
