i dont usually smoke meth & my due date is may 18th & so that would make me about 7 and a half to 8 months pregnant, i only smoked it one day since the beginning of this month, if i stop now will it show up in my babies system?

: There may be detectable amounts and this may be determined by testing once the baby is born. This is important information to share with your OB specialist and Pediatrician. Withdrawal symptoms include hypoglycemia and jitteriness and the Pediatrician will examine the baby and assess these and other signs/symptoms. Avoid secondhand smoke exposure and please follow up with your OB specialist.

i went to the gynae and my baby is due for the 19 of march but now the dr advises that i give birth earlier around the 19th due to fluid around the placenta being around 4cm and the babies waist also just within the range. bt i want the date of da 19?

: The health of your baby and you are more important than the date of the birth. It is vital for you to follow your OB Dr's advice and treatment plan in order to avoid stillbirth and other devastating outcomes. If your pregnancy is greater than 37 weeks it is considered full term and safe to deliver.

is it true that only 4 percent of babies are born on their due date?

Little higher: It actually used to be closer to 10%, but with more scheduled inductions and C-sections at around 39 weeks, the actual number has dropped below that 10%. I doubt it has dropped as low as 4% though. I certainly have not seen a number that low yet, but I'm sure it's headed that way.

i am 2 days past my due date n want to drink to help with pain.will it show up in my babies n my system?

Better pain treatmen: There are better pain treatments than feeling the need to drink alcohol to make the pain go away.  You could try exercise, yoga or any other treatments your doctor would recommend.  To answer your question, alcohol would show up in your bloodstream for a few hrs after ingesting.

Measurements: Your first due date was likely based on your last period or some very early ultrasound measurements. Both are fairly inaccurate. As you progressed, your due date was refined based on later measurements. Remember, though, doctors (like anyone) are not great at predicting the future. Only about 5% of babies are born on their due date. Hope this helps!

Can not be sure: You need to have a paternity test when the baby is born. There is no way to be 100% sure based on dates alone.

My vote is on the BF: The estimated conception date is january 5, for a september 28 due date, which matches up with having sex on january 4. Life is never exact, but this is as good as estimates can be. So, if the baby is born with a striking resemblance to the "other guy"... Then it might be time to spend some money on dna testing.

DNA testing will : Answer your question of which of the putative fathers is indeed the biological father, if they'll cooperate. If you're seeking child support, each may be willing to pay the ~ $2000 for his cgh & split the cost of your baby's. Proprietary dna testing (e.g., 1-800-whosyourdaddy)  is often unreliable. A "due date"is an estimated date  of confinement. Your estimated date of conception was march 13-28.

if my due date measures august 29th with conception december 6, and my baby decides to come early does that mean ultrasound measured wrong or no?

No: The due date is just a estimated date of when the full pregnancy will be complete. There are many factors that can lead to an early birth and often a baby can be late for no reason. The due date is only the date that completes 9 months. That's all.

Accepted Answer

LMP 12/21/15?: Was your last menstrual period 12/21/15 and not the sex encounter? If your LMP was that date then sex after that time could have resulted in a pregnancy for a EDC of 09/27/16 but not that date.
