Usually not: It depends on how the uterus was removed. Most cystocele repairs can be done vaginally which has a shorter recovery time than an abdominal surgery.  If the uterus is removed vaginally there would be no additional recovery time. If however, the uterus were to be removed abdominally followed by a vaginal cystocele repair then there would be additional recovery time.

Crowns on primary's: The crowns are most likely on his primary (baby) teeth and if so those teeth will be lost naturally with the crowns attached. If they are on his first permanent 6 year molars, they need to be monitored every six months and when he is approximately 18 years old, the temporary crowns will be easily removed and replaced with permanent molars. Please discuss with your child's dentist.

No: They do not remove your sinuses.   Sinuses make your skull lighter and provide a means for drainage and other functions.  They may do surgery on your sinuses for chronic infections, or cysts or polyps in addition to other reasons.  With any surgery their are risks.  Olfactory damage could be altered but the risk is not high.

Equivalent: The colon is the large intestine. If all of your colon was removed, you no longer have a large intestine and vice versa.

Get generic equivole: Ceclore is a cepholexin antibiotic. Ask your physician for either a generic equivalent or possibly Keflex.

Probably: If they are truly gone the site would not be contagious. However, new lesions can arise from the area that were not evident when removal was done.

Possibly.: If an open-ended vasectomy is performed, it stands to reason that a longer gap between the cut ends of the vas deferens could possibly decrease the risk of failure by recanalization. However, this has not been systematically studied, so there is no data to support this practice. Current evidence suggests that superior results can be achieved by intraluminal cauterization.

Besides, at times, these "nonfunctioning" ovaries may develop unwanted tumor/cancer although rare but maybe casting diverging views among surgeon. So, it's okay to remove them as long as you understood such controversy. Remember: Behind what we know always hides a lot what we don't know.
