May be helpful: Cod liver oil may be helpful to lower blood pressure, to lower triglycerides in the blood, to reduce muscle and joint aches, and to balance mood. It is high in omega 3 fatty acids.  For an adult, doses of 1-2 tablespoons daily are often used.  Too much cod liver oil can raise vitamin A to harmful levels in your blood, so please read your labels carefully if you decide to take it.

Yes: Argan oil is traditionally used as a treatment for skin diseases and as a cosmetic oil for skin and hair. It should be gentle enough to use on infant skin.  
The only issue: in "rare cases" a "contact skin sensitivity rash" may develop as would with other topical oils, moisturizers and emollients.
