what is idiopathic guttate hypomelanosis?

Pale spots: These "white age spots" spots appear in many adults for reasons that remain obscure. "guttate" refers to "raindrops", the pattern. Easier to see on dark-skinned people, they are harmless. They are to be distinguished from vitiligo.
