Yes: I dont know anybody withpfs that can squat comfortably best treatment is rest activity modification.

Not likely: Patellofemoral syndrome is caused by the knee cap not riding exactly in its groove, causing pain when the knee cap is closer to the knee joint, such as when you are sitting with your knee bent, or going up stairs. This should not cause pain in your foot. I suggest seeing your doctor if this happens often. Maybe you have some other sort of condition causing both the knee pain and foot pain.

generally speaking, the knee exercises involve straightening the knee from a slightly bent position. This can be done with weight on the ankles, or alternatively, by placing something behind the knee and pushing it down. Thicker, harder material for better workout.
Your back? Too many options to venture a guess.

what is the best knee brace for pfs for softball? it needs to be able to stand sliding and lots of running and squating. should i wear on both knees?

Patellofemoral pain: The best brace is no brace.  Making sure that your hip abductors and vastus medialis are strong.  Also making sure that your patellar mobilization is good by stretching the lateral retinaculum is paramount.  In the short term consider mcconnell or kinesio-taping.  Bracing will serve no great purpose if you haven't done the above first.

The brand: Does not make a difference. It is still inactivated killed poliovirus and your baby will be protected the same and the side effects are exactly the same

PFSS is due 2 Mala-: ligament, of the patella. If the alignment was not addressed it still remains. C a fellowship trained sports medicine orthopedic surgeon 4 further evaluation. There R surgical procedures that will align the pull of the quads so it doesn't ride 2 the outside on Ur patella. They R both soft tissue or boney, or combination of both. Meticulous eval is paramount 2 a good outcome.

No: Probably not.They are many possible causes for pfs and muscle imbalance is one of them as well as aligment of the extremities.Severe scoliosis that affect pelvic obliquiti and leg lenghts discrepancy could be a contributory factor but not a mild one.

mri revealed tear in medial meniscus in right knee. doctor says that clinically there is nothing all pain is due to pfs. is that possible?

Yes: Your doctor relies on history and physical exam findings and imaging tests (MRI) to determine the most likely cause of your pain.  Often there are subtle or minor findings on MRI examinations that do not turn out to be important.  Many small meniscal tears are not symptomatic or at least do not require surgery.
