Nerve: Inner thigh is the distribution of your L2 or L3 spinal nerve. Likely irritated from back, but another common source of irritation is from your pyriformis or obturator muscle

: If you have twisted your ankle, rest and avoid weight bearing. Watch for swelling, redness and focal pain. If these symptoms occur, discuss an imaging study. Monitor temperature.

Not Sciatica: The sciatic nerve runs down the back of the leg.  The sensation your are describing could be due to a disk problem in the upper part of the lumbar spine, a hernia causing a nerve in the area to be irritated it a hip joint problem.  This may require physical therapy to prevent worsening.  You should discuss this with your doctor.

Lets review your que: Where were you told the location you have a "cyst". In the vaginal wall, a Bartholin's cyst can form, it is usually painful but will resolve with warm compresses and compression of its material. A cyst of the leg can bust at anytime and possible could feel like water flowing down your thigh

Some patients with a condition called arachnoiditis have sensations that may feel like insects crawling on the skin or water trickling down the leg.  Arachnoiditis is an inflammation of one of the linings of the spinal cord.

Meralgia: Numb feeling in anterior thigh is usually related to compression of the femoral cutaneous nerve at the inguinal ligament. This is known as meralgia.  However it does not produce paresthesia in your behind.  That is probably a separate matter.

Get it evaluated: It is possible that those symptoms are due to a peroneal nerve irritation. It needs to be evaluated.

Yes: You were probably bitten by some organism while in the water. Might be serious or not depending on what bit you. Your best bet now is to see your family physician or a dermatologist ASAP

Possibly: This could be due to a number of things... piriformis injury, sciatica, limb-length discrepancy.... it's best to get examined for the correct diagnosis and treatment plan!
