Acne: Acne is at least in part a hormonal disease. We know this because acne symptoms start only after adequate levels of hormones are present during puberty. Also, we know that acne symptoms usually increase when androgen (male hormone) levels increase. Exactly how and why this occurs is unknown. Ice on the face will not reduce pimples. Try prescription epiduo or ziana.

Neurological: There are a variety of nerves running along the sides of your face. Any burning, cold, tingling, painful jolt, or crawling sensation could be the result of improper stimulation of this nerve = parasthesia. If this is a recurring sensation or you have strange sensations in multiple areas, it might be time to see a neurologist. They can do nerve testing and determine the underlying cause.

i fell on the ice last week on my face. the bruising and cuts are almost gone but i have a hard bump & swelling on my cheekbone could i have broken something, and if so, is there anything i can do about it, or should i just forget about it?

With : With any hard fall it is possible to fracture a facial bone.  It would be a little unusual to continue to have swelling this long after your injury.  I would suggest you see a doctor to have this problem evaluated. Go get evaluated: You may be young and strong, but you may have taken a serious blow, so go get evaluated, and soon. You may head to the er or outpatient urgent care clinic. You have change in sensorium, persistent headache , and visual problems, so have someone drive you to a medical facility. Good luck.

Mild head injury: As long as his/her behavior, alertness  is normal, there is little to worry about. use the ice pack for swelling which may take several days to resolve. It's fine to let him/her sleep.

C ur doctor pls: Don't know the reason why your face swelled up? is it because you applied something? or because of something you ate /a drug you took? Most important is your breathing, not your looks, at any rate arrange to see a doctor, take an antihistaminic in the interim, take care

Depends: If there is superficial swelling, i.e. "goose egg, " you may use ice.  Treatment for head injuries should include rest (lying down, limiting loud noises/bright lights).  Headaches, nausea, and dizziness are not uncommon - you may use tylenol/acetaminophen.  If symptoms do not improve or worsen, you should be evaluated by a healthcare provider.
