Never seen it happen: I have treated many over the years and have never seen or heard of this happening as a result of "scarlet fever". Today with rapid diagnosis and treatment of strep  infections we see fewer complications of the disease. The scarlet rash produced by some strains of group a strep has been relegated to a visual curiosity. It no longer means things will be worse for this episode of strep, it is the same.

Rest and hydrate: It could be because of weakness . If you don't have fever, cough or any other symptom then rest and hydration should help.

Allergies: Seasonal patterns sounds more like a seasonal allergy rather than a "yearly" and "seasonal" infection. I do not like the fever part of the equation unless you are simply feeling hot and assuming you have a fever which could be a side effect of a revved up immune system reacting to the pollens to which you are allergic.

Immune system: allergies (sort of chronic inflammation) means rather a heightened immune system not a weak one, you had the problem for 8 years, and that's not uncommon, and you don't need to have fever if you have chronic rhino-sinusitis, which can allergic or non-allergic. You need to see an ENT or an allergist/immunologist, if you have access to one, for proper management, good luck

Possibly: There is 30% chance if one parent has atopy, (allergy)  an offspring can develop the same, however, other factors, as environment play a role. Your best bet is to see an allergist if you have access to one , good luck

Nasal Allergies: You can try numerous OTC antihistamines, some which are non sedating.  You may also want to try nasal saline sprays or washes which may help also.  Humidity may help to unblock your nose.
