i wake up every morning with a headache on the right side of my head.  what causes this?

A lot of things.: The are several conditions, that give headaches. However, if it always happen on the same side, may be realted to position of the head. Do you sleep on the same side? If so, the list is somewhat smaller. What part of the head hurts? If mostly in the front, it would be worthwhile checking for sinus infection. If it is mostly in the back - more likely to be pinched nerve, causing muscle spasm.

Numerous: There can be a number of causes for this, some benign, some very dangerous.  Because of the later, i'd ask your doctor to consider a brain mri, especially if these symptoms are new.

Green mucus: Sinus drainage/mucus with headache but no fever could be from a viral upper respiratory infection or allergic sinusitis.  The length of symptoms is most important; if only a few days, it is safe to increase fluid intake and try an over-the-counter sinus remedy.  If symptoms last over 3 weeks or if a fever develops, a doctor should check.

Grinding teeth?: Maybe you're grinding your teeth at night, which could cause jaw pain and a morning headache.  It might not hurt to get evaluated for a night guard.

AM headaches: it sounds like your are  grinding of your teeth in your sleep resulting in TMJ Syndrom . you may want to consider an over-the-counter mouth  guards and see how that will  works for you. If that works then you can go see your dentist to make one for you. You may use a mild muscle relaxant  at bedtime (from your PCP). Use ibuprofen for pain.

can taking 2 much tylenol, 250 mg, 4/day for/3 days every day, along with some motrin, 400 mg, 3 days, plus every day taking tums at least 4 tablets/500mg, cause you to have a slight morning headache? & sometimes upset stomach?

: Yes, it could. What other medications are you taking. It would be useful to discuss all the mediations, prescription, herbals, over the counter drugs with your doctor so that you are not over medicating yourself.

Dilated vessels (?): It could be you are describing dilated blood vessels which might be visible and which can be associated with a headache.  Perhaps more importantly, you should have your blood pressure checked during a headache to be sure it is not caused by hypertension (high blood pressure).  A visit to your doctor might be appropriate.
