Yes: Be careful though because Indomethacin and alopurinol are both processed by the kidney so combining them can cause kidney damage, albeit likely temporary. Check with your doctor about whether combining them is the best regimen for you and what your maximum daily dosages should be based on your other medical conditions and your baseline kidney function.

Yes: You should never be started on Allopurinol alone as it commonly can precitpitate gout early in the treatment. Always take Colchicine 1 tab daily with it until your serum uric acid level is stable at 6 mg/dl or less. Hold Allopurinol during the acute attack and treat the attack either with Prednisone or nsaids. Colchicine is not my first choice for acute attacks.

Amox & Allopurinol: There is a higher likelihood of developing a rash if you take Amoxicillin and Allopurinol together. It does not appear to occur often enough nor is it serious enough to warrant a change. If you are on Allopurinol and have to be on Amoxicillin for an infection, you can be monitored for a rash. If the rash occurs and is severe, a different antibiotic can be prescribed. The rash may not occur at all.

Yes but: I checked for a drug interaction and did not find one but you eed to discuss with your physician sonce other issues with your medical problems and diagnoses that you only your physician will know

Not really: Allopurinol is a life long therapy.  Stay on it. There is no natural substitute.

You can: try both together but if not helping in 24-48 hours stop Allopurinol ..take Colchicine alone for 5-7 days then restart Allopurinol ......hope this is  helpful!

Wrong move: Allopurinol will prolong the attack. Stop it  immediately. It is only used on a daily basis to prevent future attacks.  Colchicine is not very effective unless it is started very early in the attack. Use an NSAID such as naproxen or indomethacin.

Possibly: Some people do well on just Allopurinol for suppressing gout attacks.  Do not stop your medications without consulting your doctor first!
