Pre-menstrual bleed: The bleeding is preceding the impending period. Also, if you manipulate the IUD string while checking it, bleeding can also result.

Options: If you are sexually active, you could have been pregnant and this is a miscarriage.

It could have also been a hormonal imbalance throwing your periods off. When this happens it usually will straighten itself out over 2 to 4 cylces. If not, see your doctor.

Period?: It could be a light period seen by some women after conception or it could be early blood for the period you should be having.

Do a home upt, if negative wait a few days and try again.

May be: It is too early to know if you are pregnant.Conception, as defined by the generation of a fertilized ovum, occurs within day or so of the sex. However, it takes about two weeks for the embryo to make enough HCG to produce a positive pregnancy test. Blood test may be done a day after a missed period. Home pregnancy tests should be done 4-5 days after the missed period.

Normal: Some cycles are normally longer than others because it takes some eggs longer to grow. Stress can also delay your period. If you haven't had sex or had ejaculation near your vagina you do not have to worry about pregnancy. It sounds like your period is about to start.

Bleeding between per: The dilated cervix may be caused by an endocervical polyp, which may be a cause for the bleeding.  However, bleeding between periods at your age is not normal and needs to be evaluated by probably an ultrasound and endometrial biopsy.  Please see your ob/gyn.

Highly unlikely: It is highly unlikely but not impossible. When is/was your period due? Are you having any other symptoms? How low or high your cervix is, is very subjective and unless something else is going on I wouldn't be concerned.

im sixteen years old and i recently had intercourse and he hit my cervix a bit too hard and a little blood came out and im2 months late on my period. could him hitting my cervix too hard delay my period?

Pregnancy test: Take a pregnancy test, either at home or at your doctor's office.  If your not pregnant your doctor will help you.
