i'm having sulfur burps all day 3-4 times a week no gall bladder. i eat healthy. what could be causing it ?

Sulfur burps: Sulfur burps occur when foods containing sulfur break down in your stomach. If it occurs often look up sulfur containing foods on Google and limit them. Drinking lots of water may flush them out. Taking simethicone after meals prevents gas buildup. Get tested for  h pylori bacteria in your stomach

Unlikely: It's unlikely that your symptoms are due to the absence of your gallbladder.  Other causes should be investigated, like acid reflux, ulcers, irritable bowel syndrome, or other GI issues.

i have had my gall bladder taken out 5 years ago, i still have pain in upper abdomen it feels like a brick in my stomach. then i can not stop burping ?

Gastroenterologist: It is troubling to hear about such longstanding symptoms so many years after your surgery.  If the pain you are having is the same as what you experienced before surgery, there are some very important lab tests that need to be done after which your dr. Will likely order an ultrasound or ct scan. If the mystery remains, upper endoscopy by a GI doctor (gastroenterologist) is indicated.

i have a fever 102, nausea, and feel like i cannot totally empty my bladder. when i urinated this am,  it smells like sulfur. i was fine yesterday and all of a sudden this hit. i am rarely sick and otherwise healthy man.

UTI: It sounds like you have a urinary tract infection. With the high fever it could be moving up to your kidney causing a more serious kidney infection. You need to see a doctor today. If you can not get in to see your doctor go to urgent care or emergency department.

Constipation: All mentioned drugs can cause constipation as a side effect and your symptoms are strongly suggesting severe constipation/ obstruction. Depending upon the time you had your last BM make sure you start with a laxative suppository, such as Dulcolax/enema. If no success seek immediate medical attention as your symptoms are suggesting bowel obstruction.

Neurologist?: I would see a headache specialist as soon as you are able.  On the one hand they will hopefully be able to find the right treatment to control your symptoms.  On the other, they will be able to rule out a non-migraine cause to make sure you are not missing something.  I hope you feel better soon.

Varies individually: Gallstones can be asymptomatic. If concurrent   inflammation occurs can have right upper quadrant pain, nausea, vomiting, back pain, sometimes chest pain, often related to eating fat containing foods. Sometimes stone if large enough and obstruct gall bladder duct or common bile duct. Jaundice may result form common bile duct obstruction. If symptomatic should consult your doctor.

Depends on problem: Obstruction or cancer untreated may be fatal. An asymptotic stone or a polyp untreated is of no consequence. Need something more specific.

is it possible that my gull bladder is not digesting the fatty foods my body is consuming and be causing me to gain weight even though i workout a lot?

Accepted Answer

No: Even  if your gallbladder were not digesting fatty foods properly, that would not result in you gaining weight, but would just result in you having oily diarrhea. It is more likely that you are eating more calories than you're burning off, resulting in your weight gain. Good luck.
