Ligament Tear: Even if you had negative x-rays, ligaments tears can cause joint instability that can cause continuing pain.  See your doctor regarding appropriate splinting protocols and re-evaluation schedule.

i hurt my finger almost 3 months ago, the x-ray showed it wasn't broken. i used a narthec for 3 weeks but it still hurts and is swollen. what can i do?

May have dislocated: The finger, which either self reduced or was done in the er. These do take up to 6 months to heal and for the swelling/discomfort to go down.
Unless you had a ligament injury which might need to be repaired.
Best thing for you is to see a hand surgeon who can then advise you.

No: HIV is transmitted via bodily fluids, so unless the sewing needle had bodily fluids on it from an HIV patient, you will not get HIV from it.

Finger: It could be a finger sprain. It's not clear how it was injured. Did something fall on it or did you fall or did something else happen? When did it happen? If it was less than a week ago, then this could normal healing. It could also be something else such as a fracture. So it depends on how and when this injury occurred. X-rays would help determine if there has been a fracture.

: You have to go to a hand specialist, an orthopedic surgeon for an x-ray and exam. If surgery is necessary you will be told. Don't wait any longer. more damage is possible.

Nope: it's just "static" electricity ..generally due to dry conditions ..(or rubbing your feet on a thick rug!

Half : Half life of lortab is 3.8-4.9 hours, may safe after about that time or approximately 6 hrs.
